Bond graph model of doubly fed three phase induction motor using the Axis Rotator element for frame transformation

چکیده
Induction motor is a typical member of a multi-domain, non-linear, high order dynamic system. For speed control a three phase induction motor is modelled as a d–q model where linearity is assumed and non-idealities are ignored. Approximation of the physical characteristic gives a simulated behaviour away from the natural behaviour. This paper proposes a bond graph model of an induction motor that can incorporate the non-linearities and non-idealities thereby resembling the physical systemmore closely. The model is validated by applying the linearity and idealities constraints which shows that the conventional ‘abc’ model is a special case of the proposed generalised model. 2008 Elsevier B.V. This paper proposes an improved direct active and reactive power control (DPC) strategy for a grid-connected doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) based wind-turbine system under unbalanced grid voltage condition. The method produces required rotor voltage references based on the sliding mode control (SMC) approach in stationary reference frame, without the requirement of synchronous coordinate...

This paper presents a new adaptive Sliding-Mode flux observer for speed sensorless and rotor flux control of three-phase induction motor (IM) drives. The motor drive is supplied by a three-level space vector modulation (SVM) inverter. The sensorless model predictive force control (SMPFC) is a strong method for controlling the drives of three-phase 4(6)-switch inverter linear induction motors. This kind of inverter can be employed for fault tolerant control in order to solve the problem of open/short circuit in 6-switch inverters (B6). This paper proposed a method for the SMPFC of a linear induction motor (LIM) with a 4-switc...
متن کاملIncreasing the Efficiency of the Power Electronic Converter for a Proposed Dual Stator Winding Squirrel-Cage Induction Motor Drive Using a Five-Leg Inverter at Low Speeds
A dual stator winding squirrel-cage induction motor (DSWIM) is a brushless single-frame induction motor that contains a stator with two isolated three-phase windings wound with dissimilar numbers of poles. Each stator winding is fed by an independent three-phase inverter. The appropriate efficiency of this motor is obtained when the ratio of two frequencies feeding the machine is equal to the r...
